How to Join

Workshop Membership Criteria

This is the criteria for joining our Workshop projects in Orpington & Penge:

  • Membership to Credo is voluntary and free.
  • You should be over 18 years of age and live in the London Borough of Bromley.
  • Have a recognised mental health need.
  • Be interested in developing self through the medium of a creative work project.
  • Be willing and prepared to attend workshop sessions on a regular basis.
  • Have your membership application supported by a recognised healthcare professional.
  • Be willing and able to attend a personal interview to discuss your application to join the project.

The Credo project works on a goal-oriented approach, tailored to individual members needs.

On average members stay with us at our workshop for a period of 8-12months, although give the nature of mental un-wellness we do not stipulate maximum time limits to participation.

If you are an individual who would like to become a member - Click Here - for an Application Form.

If you have any questions about joining us as a member - check out our FAQ's page.

If you are a Healthcare Professional who wishes to refer an individual to Credo - Click Here - for guidelines on how to make a referral.

Outreach Criteria

The criteria for joining our Outreach ceramic sessions differs from project to project, course to course.

It may depend on a number of factors such as:

  • How many places we are able to offer
  • Where the project/course is being run
  • How the project/course is being funded
  • Who has commissioned us to deliver the project/course
  • Why we are delivering the project/course

We always do our best to involve as many people in our Outreach projects as possible.

We advertise Outreach sessions though local press, on our website and through other charities and voluntary bodies in the area and we always try to keep the sign up process as simple as possible.

The best way to keep updated about the Outreach work we are undertaking is to visit the News and Outreach pages of our website.
